404

Fri, 17 Jan 2003

Sorry kids, I have absolutely no idea why my archives are not being built. The links aren't wrong, the archives just don't exist. I have absolute no clue why, and it's actually kind of driving me crazy. I have a clue that it might have something to do with my sysadmin doing things that I asked him to do on the server, but we'll see. Anyway, in the meantime, hang in there. There aren't any entries other than the ones displayed on the front page anyway, so you're not missing anything. (I will really be upset if the front page goes AWOL.)

Maybe all the traffic generated by Aquarion is making my blog shy.

In the meantime, since I can't really fix all that until I talk to my sysadmin tomorrow and he tells me what the heck is going on, I will focus on redesigning this site and deciding on a layout and color scheme. Stupid IE.

Whoo, we have TrackBack!

But I do kind of wish (in retrospect, of course) that I had named my entry something else, so that it didn't look so much like a 404-page was referencing Aquarion's blog.

At least I know it works.

Laurabelle says:

Turns out the missing-archive problem was my fault. They were getting built, just somewhere else in the file hierarchy. Now all is well.

Laurabelle says:

I also just realized how incredibly ironic it is that the people who tried to get to this entry (about missing archives) from my TrackBack to Aquarion did indeed get a 404 page because the archives were missing...
