Last night I went to a really fun little SCA party in honor of Gordon Redthorn, who just became a Laurel a few weeks ago. Of course most of you have absolutely no clue what I'm talking about, but basically the idea is that Gordon's been in the SCA for eons and done a lot of really great things, including starting the Shire of Wyewood, which is also where the party was held, so he got honored for that. I haven't known Gordon as long as everyone else, but even I know he's a really cool bloke.

So I made spinach balls (which actually turned out very well) and got a ride from Dieter. As this is Wyewood, there was a lot of really good food, and my spinach balls got eaten up fairly quickly. (That's nice, but it means I don't get to eat any, since I never make them just for myself.) I talked to people and got told off for not asking stupid questions and found out more about SCA stuff and discovered that Matilda, another Bunnie (member of the College of St. Bunstable), is also in the UW LUG. Worlds collide!
