I've spent this evening tweaking my blog archives in various small and mostly-unnoticeable ways. Individual, daily, monthly, and category archives now have navigation bars on the side that lead to related archive locations. Monthly and daily archives are sorted in ascending order. Longer archive pages (monthly and category) don't show comments. Monthly archives show just excerpts but include a sidebar of permalinks. Category archives show the last 10 entries in full with a sidebar of permalinks to all category entries. Finally, the next and previous links are marked up as a list and styled to look the way they did before.
Part of the reason I did this is procrastination; the other reason is that I was very tired after coming home just before 17:00 and lay down for a nearly 4-hour nap, so of course I couldn't sleep for a while. I should have gone to bed quite a while ago, especially since I think I'm coming down with a fever. I'm not sure I'll make it to class tomorrow. Good night.
