.plan vs. blog
My friend Maggie has a .plan, and she writes on it a lot. Basically, if I want to stay at all in touch with what's going on in her life, I have to read her .plan, because she very rarely emails. (Part of that's due to the fact that she has very high standards for [...]

Grrr spammers
People who spam by using comments or TrackBack are the scum of the earth. Just so you know. Yes, I got spammed that way today (on my other blog, not this one). Two identical comments, actually. I had been so sure I would never need to block any IP addresses, too, not that I think [...]

Another day, another cluestick
Today was my second day volunteering up in Mountlake Terrace. Unfortunately I didn't get up there as early as I intended, partly because I kept just missing the time when I thought I should leave in order to catch the bus, and I didn't feel like walking almost a mile and then either waiting in [...]

Pinch that penny!
Kevin doesn't understand why libraries are installing coffee bars instead of more books. He argues that the reason he doesn't use the library much is that it has very few books that he's interested in. I see his point, but I also see the reasoning behind coffee bars and other weird installations.
