Meg is arriving in Hamburg today. I am quite jealous! I still have very fond feelings towards Hamburg. A couple of weeks ago Meg told me they had found an apartment and asked where it was in the city. It's in a part of town that I've almost never seen (I think I took a bus out that way only once, to visit a dentist), so I couldn't tell her much, but she seemed reassured that I recognized its general location.

While Meg and Nigel start their New Life in Germany, I'm cruising towards the end of my time in the iSchool. Yesterday I went to talk to my advisor, Raya, and asked her whether she thought it was a Bad Idea for me to take only one course next quarter. It's my last required course, and it will also take me over the credit requirement. She didn't have any terrible objections, so I'm only taking four credits next quarter. Yay! Maybe I'll actually have time to breathe and eat.

The other part of graduation is my portfolio, which I've assigned myself to write in the next few weeks. I've already got all the experiences that I'm going to write about, so all I have to do is write it up well enough to convince my advisor and one other random faculty member that I've actually learned something in the past two years!
