I talked to my mother yesterday and asked about how my grandmother, her mother, was doing. She said that she was not doing well but could go either tomorrow or six months from now.
Mom just called again to tell me that Grandmama passed away last night.
I am sad to lose another grandparent (she was effectively my last one), but I am glad that she is no longer in pain. Rest in peace, Grandmama.
