Thanks for your vote of confidence, Kris, but I assure you that it is in no way deserved. It was pretty dumb of me to be unprepared for the terrain (I didn't know beforehand what it would be like, and I should have found out), so I was really just lucky. Of course, I now know a lot more about hiking (and climbing) than I did last Friday. I don't intend to repeat that slide again. Credit for the photos goes to my digital camera, which almost always picks the right settings with no intervention from me. I couldn't operate an analog camera to save my life. Ha!
