I went shopping at Nordstrom today because I have a job interview coming up and want to be dressed properly. Yeah, I have nice clothes, but nothing with quite the style and perfection that Nordstrom does so well. Besides, it's just fun to shop at Nordstrom.
What I most wanted was new shoes for my interview suit. I found the perfect pair: low-heel black suede, classy but comfortable enough to wear all day. I'm in love with those shoes already. That stereotype about women and shoes is too true. What is it about shoes?
I like Nordstrom because their merchandise is quality, but I like them even more because the service is quality too. Where else in this world can you get someone in a shoe department to actually measure your feet? Even when I was a child, that kind of service was more common than it is today. Since I've been in the business of providing customer service, I have become even more aware of good service and determined to reward it when I find it.
