I've been away for a few days, apartment-hunting. I bagged a good one, in only the second building we looked at. It's a roomy one-bedroom on the top floor, with a bay window and what's probably a kumquat tree outside. The landlord is currently remodeling it, since the previous tenant was there for thirty years. She kept it in good condition, but thirty years is a long time. It was due for a makeover.
Now that I have an address and a time for taking possession, I can start the other business of moving: giving businesses and aquaintances my new address, reserving a U-Haul, etc. Oh, and I've got to pack too. Forgive me if I don't blog much over the next few weeks.
