I haven't been blogging much lately, partly because I don't have any time (argh), but also because almost the only thing happening in my life is work, and I can't talk about most of what I'm doing. This stuff isn't top-secret or anything; it's just that what I would like to do is complain about specific things (hey, whose job is perfect?), and right now is a bad time for complaining, should more than three people happen to read this entry.
It currently appears that the KCLS bond issue passed in the primary elections on Tuesday, so we're all pretty relieved and happy about that (though still holding our breath for the final count). None of us have much time to think about it, though, because there's a lot of work to do.
Now that the election is past, patrons are starting to see changes to our catalog, and that isn't making some of them very happy (and I don't blame them). I may write an entry about how and why that's happening, and the part I play in it. It was an interesting set of decisions.
